Biography

Mohammed Ghiath Khatib was born in Aleppo, Syria. He received his BSc Degree (with distinguish) in 2001 in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Aleppo, Syria. Thereafter, in 2004 he obtained his MSc Degree (with a CGPA of 1.2) in Embedded Systems Design from the Technical University of Brunswick, Germany. Currently, he is busy pursuing the Ph.D. degree at the Embedded Systems cluster at University of Twente, the Netherlands. He is a member of the uSPAM consortium.

From 1999 till 2001 he conducted research in Design and Implementation of Database systems at the Engineering Unit, University of Aleppo, Syria. From 2001 till 2004 he was appointed as a student researcher at institute IDA, Brunswick, Germany, where he researched in Timing Analysis of Embedded Real-Time Software. He received several times the first class-student award.
